Kamau Consulting remains steadfast in its mission to drive change.
During Dr. Bedan Kamau’s trip to Kenya in Summer 2022, he was asked to lead a workshop on incorporating technology into teaching at Joram G. Academy in Matasia.
Dr. Kamau trained a group of primary and secondary school educators on the use of spreadsheet technology to replace traditional manual grading methods.
The hands-on Microsoft Excel session covered the fundamentals of spreadsheets, including entering grades, calculating student scores, and collaborating with other teachers.
The workshop participants viewed this as an opportunity to streamline the grading process and reduce manual labor.
The workshop aligns with Kamau Consulting’s ESG standards, which emphasize giving back to the community and finding ways to make a positive impact, as well as serving as a catalyst for change.
